The Gratia family gathered on November 21 to give thanks to God and to one another through a Thanksgiving service followed by a dinner fellowship.
Pastor Julia delivered a message based on Philippians 1:3–6, reflecting on Paul’s words, “I thank my God every time I remember you.” She reminded the congregation that all gratitude begins with God—the One who brought us together as a family in Christ. We give thanks not only for the visible acts of service such as teaching, praising, preparing, and helping, but even more for the sincere hearts behind them, the spiritual maturity growing among us, and the love that reflects Christ. Our gratitude is not simply for what God and people do, but for the love with which they serve. Above all, we give thanks not only for what God provides, but for God Himself—His heart, His character, and His unchanging love.
Following the service, members shared a Thanksgiving dinner, expressing appreciation for one another’s love and service. We pray that this grace continues to overflow in the hearts of all members as they walk together with the Lord.
